Our Projects
Whim Creek
Defined JORC 2012 Resources of 11 Million tonnes of which 4.82 million tonnes have been scheduled for Production at an average grade of 1.35% Cu and 2.44% Zn. Near-mine exploration has identified potential for new resource extensions. Elsewhere, exploration has defined multiple targets including gold at HLF, lithium at Whim Maar, nickel-cobalt at Kent Well, and PGEs at Rushalls and Airstrip prospects. Anax continues to explore at Whim Creek.
Whim Creek Processing Hub
The proposed Whim Creek Project will consist of a crushing and ore sorting infrastructure, a new 400,000 tonnes per annum concentrator and a refurbished heap leach facility capable of treating oxide, transitional and supergene ore. Its strategic location and capacity to treat various types of ore, makes Whim Creek ideally suited to become a base metal processing hub servicing the Western Pilbara.
Loudens Patch
Anax has identified lithium and gold anomalies from ongoing surface exploration.
Mount Short
The Mount Short tenement secures a 50km2 area of the Ravensthorpe Greenstone Belt, prospective for lithium pegmatites, Rare Earth Elements (REEs), volcanogenic massives sulphides (VMS), Nickel massive sulphides and structurally controlled gold mineralisation. Anax has entered into a JV with Woomera to further the exploration of the project.
